Address mail with the person's full name and 8-digit BOP register number (no spaces or dashes) directly before their last name, followed by "USP Florence ADMAX, U.S. Penitentiary" and the mailing address above. All BOP mail is inspected and anything violating policy is rejected and returned.

Do not send money to the facility's mailing address — federal funds are processed centrally. Use MoneyGram's ExpressPayment (receive code 7932, funds typically post within a few hours) or Western Union (the "Send2Corrections" app works for this), or mail a money order to the BOP's central lockbox in Des Moines, Iowa. Always confirm the exact current mailing instructions on bop.gov before sending.

Confirm the current phone/tablet and money-deposit provider directly with the facility, since these are occasionally switched to a different vendor.
