Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. When you submit a profile on behalf of someone else, we collect the information you provide (name, facility, photo, etc.). When you make a payment, Stripe processes your billing information — we do not store card numbers on our servers.

How We Use Your Information

• To display inmate profiles on the site
• To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, profile status updates)
• To respond to support requests

Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for database and authentication, Stripe for payment processing, and Netlify for hosting. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their data handling.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Profile data submitted to the site is displayed publicly as intended. We may disclose information if required by law.

Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication. No advertising or tracking cookies are used on this site.

Data Retention & Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing gethush.app@gmail.com. Profile data submitted by third parties (family members listing an inmate) can be removed via our takedown process below.

Acceptance

By accessing or using Inmate Connection ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use this Site. By using the Site you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

Accuracy of Information

Users who submit profiles are responsible for ensuring the information is accurate. Submitting false, fraudulent, or misleading information about a person is prohibited and may result in immediate removal of the profile and termination of your account.

Prohibited Conduct

• Submitting profiles without authorization from the individual or their legal guardian
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing any users or third parties
• Using the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempting to scrape or harvest data in bulk
• Impersonating any person or entity

Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed through Stripe and are non-refundable unless required by law. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Content & Profiles

Inmate Connection is a listing directory. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any profile. We reserve the right to remove any profile at our discretion without notice.

Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Hush Enterprises LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

Profile Removal Requests

Inmate Connection respects the privacy and rights of individuals. Any person — including the individual listed, a family member, legal representative, or attorney — may request the removal of a profile at any time, for any reason.

How to Submit a Removal Request

Send an email to gethush.app@gmail.com with the subject line: "Profile Removal Request". Include the following:

• Full name of the individual listed
• Inmate ID or DOC number (if known)
• Your relationship to the individual (self, family, attorney, etc.)
• Reason for removal (optional)

We aim to process all removal requests within 48 hours of receipt.

DMCA Copyright Claims

If you believe a photo or content on this site infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA notice to gethush.app@gmail.com with:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
• Identification of the infringing material and its location on the site
• Your contact information (name, email, phone)
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
• Your electronic or physical signature

We will respond to valid DMCA notices promptly and remove infringing content as required.
