This prison uses a different P.O. Box for each facility (yard). Address mail to: Inmate's full name + CDCR number + housing/bed number, then the line for their facility: Facility A, P.O. Box 1902, Tehachapi, CA 93581; Facility B, P.O. Box 1906, Tehachapi, CA 93581; Facility C, P.O. Box 1905, Tehachapi, CA 93581; Facility D, P.O. Box 608, Tehachapi, CA 93581; Facility E, P.O. Box 107, Tehachapi, CA 93581. CDCR mail goes to the institution mailing address, not the street address. Confirm the current mail rules, including what can and cannot be sent, on the official CDCR page before you send anything. If you are not sure which facility they are in, call the institution or use CDCR's inmate locator.

Visitors must be approved by CDCR before the first visit, and visits are scheduled in advance through the CDCR Visitation Scheduling Application (VSA). Days and hours differ by institution, so check the official CDCR page for this prison and book before you travel.
