Address, Mail & Visiting Guide

Personal mail, cards and photos for everyone in TDCJ custody do not go to the unit. Address them to: Inmate's full first and last name + TDCJ number, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, PO Box 660400, Dallas, TX 75266-0400. The Digital Mail Processing Center scans each piece and delivers it to the inmate's tablet (inmates without a tablet get black-and-white printed copies). Legal mail, media mail, and books, magazines and subscriptions from verified publishers go to the unit instead, so confirm those rules on the official TDCJ page first.

Visitors must be approved by TDCJ and on the inmate's visitor list before the first visit. Visiting days and hours differ from unit to unit and can change, so check the official TDCJ visitation page and this unit's page before you travel.
